Do lessons take place online or in person?
All Effortless English Lab courses are offered online. If you're based in the Netherlands, in-person sessions can also be arranged. For clients in other locations, we’re happy to recommend trusted trainers in your area.
Is a successful exam result guaranteed if I take Cambridge Exam training with Effortless English Lab?
Success depends on your starting level, motivation, and effort. While we offer personalised guidance and expert preparation, we can't guarantee outcomes. An intake conversation is held before training begins to assess your level and customise your course.
Are the training courses one-on-one or in groups?
We offer both!

● Individual sessions are fully customised.
● Online group sessions are limited to four participants for personal attention.
● In-person groups (Netherlands only) can accommodate more, depending on the course.
Do prices vary depending on group size?
Yes. All our courses are tailor-made to suit the needs, goals, and preferences of each client. Because of this, costs can vary significantly depending on the course type, format, and group size.

Rates typically start at €70 per hour, but final pricing is discussed and agreed upon during the intake conversation to ensure clarity and alignment with your learning goals.

How do I book a course or session?

We’ll set up a free intake conversation to assess your goals and suggest the best course options.
What happens in the intake conversation?
It’s a short, informal online chat where we discuss:

● Your goals and challenges
● Your current level
● Your learning style and schedule

This ensures the training is fully aligned with your needs.
How long is each session?
Most sessions are 60 minutes, but longer sessions (e.g., 90-minute deep-dives) are available upon request.
What kind of clients do you work with?
We work with a wide variety of learners:

● Professionals preparing for international exams
● University students
● Individuals improving English for work, study, or daily life
Can I cancel or reschedule a session?
Yes. Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be charged in full.
Are sessions recorded?
Yes—on request. Let us know in advance if you’d like your online session recorded for review.
Do you provide materials for self-study?
Absolutely. We offer:

● Practice tasks
● Vocabulary drills
● Pronunciation work
● Writing assignments
tailored to your personal goals.
Which Cambridge exams do you offer training for?
We prepare students for:

● B2 First (FCE)
● C1 Advanced (CAE)
● C2 Proficiency (CPE)
Can you help with Business or Academic English?
Yes. We specialise in:

● Business communication
● Presentation skills
● Report writing
● Academic English, including essay writing and critical discussion.
How does payment work?
● 10% of the course fee is payable in advance
● Invoices are issued monthly, payable within two weeks of receipt
